Selling Services vs. Selling Products

Selling consulting services (or any other “services” in general) is very different from selling a product.

At first blush, you can tell that selling a product typically ends when the buyer pays for whatever it is he/she has bought from you.

Selling a service, on the other hand, doesn’t end when you win a consulting project — it starts there!

So as you can imagine, a real system for successfully selling services would be totally different from any other system you may have learned for selling products.
